Bilzin Sumberg Donates $10,000 to Sponsor Miami-Dade Urban Debate League’s October 11th Tournament at FIU

Miami, FL – October 3, 2025 – The Miami-Dade Urban Debate League (MDUDL) is proud to announce Bilzin Sumberg’s $10,000 donation in support of its upcoming Policy Debate Tournament, taking place Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Florida International University – Modesto Campus.
The invitational will bring together both middle school and high school debaters from across Miami-Dade to compete in three rounds of policy debate. This event includes Novice and Varsity divisions, giving new and experienced debaters alike the chance to test their skills on the national policy debate resolution: Resolved: The United States federal government should significantly increase its exploration and/or development of the Arctic.
“Supporting the Miami-Dade Urban Debate League is more than community engagement—it’s an investment in the future talent pipeline,” said Adrian Felix of Bilzin Sumberg.
